We are facing a climate catastrophe. Reports are pouring in of rising sea levels, deadly natural disasters and dying crops. But despite these monumental threats, politicians and the public push the issue of global warming aside, kicking the can down the road. We are nowhere near meeting carbon emissions thresholds that scientists say will prevent a climate tipping point. What psychological forces make public reactions to climate change different from other threats like nuclear war? How can we overcome them and spur action? These are the questions Apathy Apocalypse seeks to answer.
